If you're looking for quick, easy, delicious breakfast without a fuss, this is your place. Came here on Monday morning after Pride weekend. It took me years but I've learned to give myself an extra day of rest. We were greeted and seated immediately. Typical breakfast diner fare with little pops of flare here and there but it was the Monday after Pride so I opted for pancakes. CARBS will save me from my decisions. My companion, L, opted for a veggie breakfast burrito. Coffee was refilled quickly and often. Neon lights in the corner kept my attention until my gigantic pancakes arrived. They were amazing. Fluffy and almost an inch thick. A bit too much butter slathered all over for my liking but they were delicious. Good texture and they didn't get soggy after pouring some syrup all over. L's burrito was large and in charge. Just a delicious breakfast burrito you'd want after too much drinking the weekend before and more than L could finish.

All in all, exactly what we wanted; no wait, no fuss, quick, easy, delicious.

I don't like long waits for my food, I get too hangry, so I doubt I'll be coming here during peak times but for a lazy weekday breakfast this place is perfect.

Welcome to Pretty lady, this location is a great only choice spot in the neighborhood if you like food made by several people who don't give a shit and would just as easily serve a pile of bile if it was on the menu.

Seriously don't order the food none of it is prepared according to health code standards, the plates and glasses are washed in sink water that is full of food debris and grease. In at least 5 different places you can find more mice feces than a toilet. The coffee is also contaminated with mice feces as they regularly eat into the bags of coffee below the coffee counter. If you think you're getting fresh food you're kidding yourself

Enjoy eating at this restaurant if you like to support owners who couldn't give two shits about you eating food contaminated with multiple hazards :b

Waitress pets a dog and then goes to kitchen and serves food with out washing her hands.

    Not very clean.

I love this little local diner in West Oakland. They have quick service, food comes out warm and quick, and the food is reasonably priced. I've been here a couple of times now, and I definitely recommend the Benedict. I'm not crazy about the pancakes, but they have a really extensive menu to choose from. Parking is pretty easy outside the restaurant. I haven't had their coffee so I can't speak to that, but overall this is a solid breakfast/brunch option in West Oakland. I would recommend this to friends, and I plan on continuing to be a regular here!
